I played a gig in Vernon, Texas last night; WAY out in the middle of nowhere.

 
 
 


The drive from Dallas to Vernon was about 3 hours, one way.
It is, as they say down here, "...a fur piece."
 








When we got to Vernon, the band I was performing with decided to get lunch before we set up for the gig. So we stopped at a recommended local restaurant.  I was particularly amused at the following menu item that was listed on the kiddie menu:







Ever seen a RIBEYE STEAK on the kid's menu before?

Me neither.
